Can I enroll in
any Insurance Plan via e-Banking Services any time? |
A: |
Yes, you can now
enroll in the Travelsure Protection Plan, Home Care Plan, Domestic Helper
Insurance Plan, Part-time Domestic Helper Insurance Plan, Personal Accident Insurance Plan and Credit Care Protection Plan
via Hang Seng e-Banking Services any time. However, in the event of hoisting
of Blackrain Signal or Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or other known special
circumstances during the time of application, your enrolment can be void
even if the application has been accepted. |

the plan details before submitting the application? Where can I get the
plan details? |

Yes, you should
understand the content of the policy before submitting an application.
You can access the plan details and terms & conditions of the policy
at the Insurance Services Section of our e-Banking Services. |

Do I need to submit
the enrolment form again after successful enrolment via your e-Banking
Services? |
A: |
No, once we have
accepted your enrolment, we will send you an online acknowledgement with
a reference number and you do not need to submit the enrolment form again. |

How will I know
that my application has been accepted and when will the policy be effective? |
A: |
Upon acceptance
of your enrolment, you will be given an insurance policy number and the
policy effective date will also be stated on the acknowledgement screen. |

Can I update the
pre-filled information on the enrolment form? |
A: |
Yes, you can update
the pre-filled information except your Name and Date of Birth. |

If I amend the
pre-filled information and submit the enrolment form, will my record be
automatically updated? |

We shall adopt
and use your newly provided information to the new insurance plan only.
Please note that the new address provided will be used as the correspondence
address for the new insurance policy(ies). Your existing correspondence
address of other account statements will remain unchanged. |

You will receive
the policy within four working days after acceptance of your enrolment. |
